Wouldn't you know it, I just finished a show in Truckee, California, This is a "Truckee - Virginia City Railroad" 8" plate made by Vernon Kilns. $145
 
 Can you believe this? This is a really great piece of very scarce "Trader Vic's," this dinnerware line by Vernon , is probably as much sought after as any of the Hawaiian lines made by them. This 9" plate is in perfect condition. $225
 
I've seen these cruets before and they've all been damaged, but here's a perfect "Vernon Poxon" cruet in semi gloss white. $65
 
I was in Reno this weekend and found (4) really terrific and "Rare" Vernon "Bit" plates, "Bits of the Southwest" all depict scenes from Desert Indian life. The first is Rug Weavers  $65 (has a no-show chip on the back. Next This plate is "Medicine Man" $135, This plate is "The Potters" probably my favorite $135, and............ This is a great one also called "The Basket Weaver" $135.
 
Bet you've never seen an original lid for the Chowder have you? Well here's one, in "Orchid" $125.

  This is what Vernon called a "bit" plate, but this plate isn't part of a series, this is a plate depicting "The Alamo." This plate is supposed to be as hard to find and collectible as the Mission plates. (6) $45.ea
 
   Ever been to Salt Lake City, Utah? If so you couldn't have missed the center of the City's Mormon Temple. This is another "Bit" plate w/ the Temple and it's history on the back. $65
